This coming weekend, 3rd, 4th and 5th of July, its time for the 2009 Goodwood Festival of Speed - and I can’t wait. The weather is promising to be excellent which will mean maximum crowds so be sure to arrive early.
Modelzone, the UK’s largest model retailer, will have a stand at this year’s festival and they’ve told me that lucky festival goers will have the chance to snap up some festival-only motoring related model bargains.
Now I am something of a RC Car enthusiast (RC stands for radio control) so I shall be first in the queue to grab a bargain or three.

I love Modelzone. Not much of a radio-control modeling aficionado. They had the complete set of British World War II aircraft carriers of the Illustrious class by Airfix. The Airfix and Trumpeter series of warship models are virtually unavailable in the states. At least I haven’t found a good local dealer.
yes i recently heard about this event, i m sure If you are interested in motoring or motor sport you will love this event. You will be able to get up close and intimate with many top competition cars, motorcycles and super cars, but they will be offering some motoring related, festival-only bargains from their stand this year so I shall be at the front of the queue.
If you are planning to buy a RC car make sure you use at the time when its not too hot outside , for the longer life of battery you can store it in the refrigerator which will act as coolant for the battery and also that your battery will have a longer life.
